With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a devoted mother, caring daughter, and loving sister, Corinne Kelly Engel, on April 10, 2026.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved. She will be missed by her husband Craig Engel; her children, Taylor Engel and Lindsay Engel; her parents, Harvey and Sharron Halabuza; her brother, Darrin Halabuza (Jenn); and her sister, Kathy Frost (Scott); her in-laws, Helen and Fritz Engel, and Barbara Engel (Rick Unruh); as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was truly the mom of all moms. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was the kind of mom who would move mountains for her children and never hesitated to stand up for the people she loved. She dedicated countless hours managing Taylor’s hockey teams and supporting Lindsay’s soccer teams. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched everyone around her.
She was a devoted animal lover who never passed by an animal without showing it love and compassion.
She also had a special love for all things Disney, bringing magic, joy, and warmth wherever she went.
Her love, devotion, and unforgettable spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
She will forever be missed.
An open Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
